Steeds vaker krijgt Stopumts meldingen over wanhopige slachtoffers van de draadloze maatschappij. Zij zoeken woonruimte in gebieden zonder ontvangst van mobiele telefonie in huizen die vrij zijn van elektrosmog. Die plaatsen zijn in Europa bijna niet te vinden. Vluchten kan niet meer.....

Rental accommodation wanted in remote countryside location. I have electrosensitivity and desperately need a place away from mobile phones and wireless Internet. Anything considered however basic. Perhaps an outbuilding or caravan on a farm or in woodland. I have been looking at Wales and Scotland, but have not found anything suitable as yet. Dat dit probleem meer en meer om zich heen grijpt en niet tot enkele individuen beperkt blijft komt naar voren in onderstaand artikel in The American Chronicle van 31 jan 2010. Electromagnetic Sensitivity Gains Observance Month

Electromagnetic sensitivity gained its first publicized observance month in the United States and Canada in 2009. Since then, it has gained ground.

Connecticut Governor Jodi Rell is the first in the United States this year to declares May 2010 as Electromagnetic Sensitivity Awareness Month.

''People of al ages in Connecticut and throughout the world have developed the illness of Electromagnetic Sensitivity (EMS) as a result of global electromagnetic pollution,'' says Rell on the proclamation.

In Canada, Don Coombs, Mayor of Harbour Grace, Newfoundland, is the first this year to proclaim January 2010 as Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity Awareness Month.

''This illness may be preventable through the reduction or avoidance of electromagnetic radiation in both indoor and outdoor environments and by further medical research,'' says Coombs on his proclamation.

This is the fourth proclamation in Canada according to Christiane Tourtet in a recent news release. The first one was signed by David Saunders, Mayor of the City of Colwood, B.C. (August 2009). The second one was signed by Dennis O ´ Keefe, Mayor of St Johns´s in Newfoundland (August 2009). And the third one was signed by Mayor Fred Budgell of Norris Arms, Newfounland (October 2009).

''People suffering from EHS have significantly higher natural rates of membrane leakage as measured by their skin conductance (Eltiti et al. 2007). Since their leakage rates are already high, even small amounts of electromagnetic radiation that would not affect non-sensitive individuals can trigger their symptoms. Not everyone gets exactly the same symptoms, but they include false feelings of heat, touch, pressure, crawling sensations, pins and needles and pain,'' says Andrew Goldsworthy BSc PhD, a retired lecturer in biology at the Imperial College London. ''The radiation can also affect the ''hair cells of the inner ear, which work in much the same way. Leakage here can trigger false sensations of sound (tinnitus). There is a similar effect on the hair cells of the part of the inner ear that controls balance. Leakage here gives feelings of dizziness and symptoms of motion sickness, including nausea.''


EMS may become a major problem for everyone in the world according to Goldsworthy. ''Although only a few percent of the population are at present electrosensitive, the condition can be brought on in hitherto healthy people by repeated or prolonged exposure to the radiation. However, it sometimes takes many years to develop so, even if you are currently one of the lucky ones who are not affected, there is no guarantee that it will stay that way.''

These words of wisdom remind us why awareness of EMS and an observance month is so important!

Naar aanleiding van dit artikel ontving de redactie nog de onderstaande bijdrage van de Heer Witzel uit Heemskerk.
Hieruit blijkt hoeveel moeite sommige slachtoffers zich moeten getroosten om enigermate elektrosmogvrij te wonen:

Vluchten heeft weinig zin.
Daarom heeft Arjen Witzel zijn woning verbouwd om de enorme hoeveelheid radiogolven uit zijn woning te weren.
Hij ondervind onverklaarbare gezondheidsklachten van gepulste radiogolven.
Eerder is hij al gevlucht uit zijn vorige woning waar 15 zendmasten pal op het dak stonden.

De huidige woning bevindt zich op de 10de verdieping van een flatgebouw zonder zendmasten op het dak.
Deze komen er ook niet op, anders kan hij daar ook niet wonen.
De gezondheidsklachten zijn in de huidige woning dragelijk vergeleken bij zijn vorige woning.

In de vorige woning was alles aanwezig:
600/1200 uW/m2 van Dect telefoons van buren. 24uur non stop signalen.
300/3000 uW/m2 van buren die in hun woning een GSM toestel gebruiken.
100/1600 uW/m2 van WIFI routers (non stop 24uur) en computers van buren.
500/1000 uW/m2 van GSM 900 mhz 3 zendmasten op het dak. (non stop 24uur)
500/3000 uW/m2 van GSM 1800 mhz 6 zendmasten op het dak (non stop 24uur)
500/2000 uW/m2 van UMTS 2150 mhz 6 zendmasten op het dak. (non stop 24uur)
800/1700 mG lichtnet vervuiling van elektrische installatie.

Dat alles maakte hem dood ziek.
Tal van onverklaarbare gezondheidsklachten die door geen enkele arts te verklaren zijn.
Laat staan dat deze verholpen kunnen worden.

In zijn huidige beschermde woning :
0,7 uW/m2 van al deze boven genoemde bronnen woonkamer.
0,4 uW/m2 van al deze boven genoemde bronnen slaapkamer.
Op het balkon buiten deze beschermde woning 200 tot 3000 uW/m2.

Gebruikt is:
Koolstof houdende verf,
Aluminium folie (overal minimaal 2 lagen en gecoat)
Aluminium horrengaas voor openslaande deuren en ramen.
Speciale raamfolie met metaal coating op de ramen. (met minimaal 20% zilver)
Sommige ramen zijn vervangen door HR++ dubbel glas.

Inderdaad, Gert en Hermin zongen het in 1982 al. “Vluchten kan niet meer”!
