Op 14 en 15 September 2009 zal in Washington een wetenschappelijke conferentie plaatsvinden over mobiele telefonie en gezondheid.
De conferentie staat onder het beschermheerschap van Arlen Specter, langjarig Senator van Pennsylvania, en lid van de Juridische Commissie van de Amerikaanse Senaat.
De conferentie wordt georganiseerd door Devra Lee Davis, Professor of Epidemiology aan de Universiteit van Pittsburgh, en Christopher Portier, Director for Risk Assessment aan het National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.
